"When will it be enough for you, when?!" I doubt everyone of you definitely asked yourself such questions. To be honest, I'm not sure of the answer myself.

In the corporate ladder, everyone wants to climb up, higher and higher. Be a staff, then department head, senior department head, director, and so on. And to do so, some would work their life away to obtain it. Some would use unorthodox methods to obtain power. Some would say that they are happy in the position they are, but come on, if you are given a chance one day for the title shot, would you not want it?
In the end of the day, everyone just have a goal in mind, to lead a better life and have a better future.

I want to do many things, excel in my work, be a good son, be a good bf, study hard, earn tonnes and of cause, retire young. I want to learn IT, I want to learn business. I am hungry for skills that I have yet to gain. So, I'm really not too sure what is enough for me.

Then again, why is it not enough? Why is everything not enough for me, sometimes I asked myself. And I came to a conclusion that, I'm always comparing myself to other successful people. Or rather, am I envious of them? I'm not sure either.

People often say, if you want to compare, compare with others less fortunate then you, then you will treasure your life better. This definitely works, but will we improve from this? Or will we be contented and stay at the spot where we once started?

My friends and I always played soccer @ Aljunied SSC. 10 years. I thought that I have all the skills it requires for me to play a good midfield. But I was wrong when we started playing soccer @ Bedok cage these 2 weeks. The feeling is so much different; the pressure, fitness, game pace. I was defeated, totally.

Then I realised that, all along I was just contented at who I am, at aljunied. Some of my friends do prefer Aljunied to Bedok cage, as it is easier to score and play..

Come to think about it, am I really cut out for a midfield position? Am I a burden to the team? We don't talk about all these, so I really do not know. It is definitely not enough for me to stop just like that. I am learning and I would want to conquer Bedok cage together with my friends, sooner or later!

So, enough or not, I guessed it is up to you to decide. =)

Motivated? Part I

All these while, Larry has always been a happy-go-lucky guy. He has no worries, no burdens to shoulder. Nothing. Since young, he was always very lucky to be able to scrap through education; primary school, secondary school, and even polytechnic.

He's a soccer and game addict, like diamond hunters craving for diamonds, and would always play soccer after class ends, all the way till dinner time before he heads home, squeezing into the public bus, sweaty and smelly. Then at home, after dinner, he will latched himself onto the computer and starts gaming till 1-2am, before he heads to bed. The next morning, he will head to school and sleep in class/lectures(most of the lessons). That was his daily routine. And has never changed, be it rain or shine, attached or single.

Currently, Larry lives with his parents. Never worrying about not having a shelter to go back to. He gives his parents monthly allowance, which also includes bills and misc. So he never have to care about forgetting to pay bills, 3 meals, changing the bulb if it were to be faulty, etc...never. It is always his parents doing all these.

Currently, he earns a decent pay as a IT engineer, but always complaining that he is often doing more then what he is earning.

He is always envious of his friends accomplishments, and would love to be on par. But often he'll just blame it on his luck and hope that one fine day he'll be just like them....

Ended work ard 3+! then meet my girl for movies, avatar! Its very good, 5 stars from me! haha! Go catch them! We watched the non-3d one, so I am guessing the 3D will be better! Catch it if you can!

After that, we had subway, tuna ! Shiok! then, went to pub to meet up with my sec school friends and drink / play / waste the night off!!

Ended work at 6.30+ today! Yes! Went out with gf to catch a movie. Apparently we have 2 free tickets, given by Wei Jian(Thanks!) expiring by 31st Dec, thus we made our way down to lido and queue to exchange our tickets. After 10mins in the queue, it was our turn.

Turns out, the show that we are able to catch, is fully booked! Roar! No movies in the end~ =(

Went to have swee shee(sushi) for dinner! As shiok as usual!
Then walked to find an AXS machine, to pay our booked tickets for tml!! Avatar! heard its good, must see for myself to witness! haha~

1 more day to.. 2010!! excited ba!!! no mood to work rite?!! hai but i still gotta work till 3pm tomorrow~ PARTY ALL THE WAY tomorrow, peeps!!!

Out with my ger, wanting to have kushinbo to celebrate our ani, but darn the price! $39.xx++ / pax!!! After seeing it, we scurry away like 'the ants on the hot pot' (if you know what i'm saying yeah~).

In the end, we settled for sizzler! Actually not in the end, we just decided sizzler straight away haha. She's a superb vege monster. Farmers nightmare. Terror in the padis.

Its great starting to blog again! 3 months ago , with the help of my frens, I actually started my own fish tank! 3 ft, lovely fishes and design! Will leave a specific post for the Fishies~~

The Day Where All Hopes Were Shattered/Crashed/Burned

December 15 was 1 very sad and disappointing day in 2009. I failed my TP test. Mount the curb during the crank course. Immediate failure, IN MY FACE!

It might be normal or okay lor, to fail. But the most heart-aching, 'gek sim' part was, during my 20+ lessons of practising, I never once mount the curb.

Put the blame on my ego and confidence, I knew something was very very wrong when I was about to do the first turn for the crank course, but nonetheless, I went ahead and turn.

'Ohh..' , that came from the TP officer. 'Do you know that mounting of curb is an immediate failure..?'

Surprisingly, I said, 'okay ..' And continued with the meaningless test till end. Till date, I am still wondering why I did not beg for another chance, show my cleavage/ sexy leg/ seduce that officer. Maybe I was too shocked. Maybe I was too gong. Still can't figure out.

The most saddest thing is, next test is on March, and I have to relearn the new parking without the poles. $$ gone, time gone. @!#!%@$#@!~

But anyways, I'll be starting a Happy Initiative in my blog, so stay tuned to what it is all about!

2nd Driving Lesson

Woah! 2nd lesson! When i was on the overhead-bridge to the school, i saw Fish waiting for a cab!
Called him but too late, he's board the cab! hahaha!

Today recap 1st lesson's moving front and reversing! then learn to change gear 1-2! The instructor is great too! He tell me 1 time, went 1 round the circuit, then change over ask me drive liao!! Hahahaha!! Fun sia! But i scared la! Still have not mastered the half-clutch technique! everything its by feeling! hahaa!! Played the inner and outer circuit too, bends, sharp bends change lane! Shiok ar!!

And I did not mount curp at all!! Ai seh!!

Looking forward to the next lesson!

Wow, its been so long since I last blogged(more then a paragragh haha~)!! Work has taken 70% of my time, so 15% for family and friends and myself, and the remainding 15% for my ger~ this leaves 0% for blogging hahaha!

I'm learning a lot during work, doing stuffs that I totally don't understand lolx! Its always so awkard when people ask me questions about what I am doing, logically, I can explain, but when technically speaking, I'm lost.

From this job, I also managed to learn about the working world. How people handle people, politics. Rushing for impossible deadlines, delaying submissions etc etc.. It was all so stress, but fun.

Wish I can have more time for everything!! hahaha~

'argh...$@#%#$^#' Larry reaches for the alarm clock and turns it off. Stayed in that position for 5secs, before he opens his eyes to take a look at the clock.
'!!!, sh*t! I'm late for my appointment!' He then rushes into the bathroom and then out of the house. Luckily, he didn't wait long for the bus.

'Phew, heng ar, else I confirm need to wait very long later one..' As he was still half-awake, he continued sleeping in the bus it reached the interchange.

'Larry', the receptionist called. 'Yes I am. May I ask how long do I need to wait until its my turn?', Larry uttered.
'Erm..Which room are you in...room 3..hmm,earliest say,45mins?'
'Oh..thank you'. He wait and wait, and after 1hour20mins, his number was finally called.
'Wa piang,finally ar...', and off he went, into room 3.

'Hi, are you Larry?',the orthopedic doctor asked.
Larry: 'Yup, thats me.'
Doctor: 'So how are you feeling now, any pain, discomfort, or numb?

Larry: 'No, actually, but if I were to play sports or carry heavy, I will feel the ache after awhile. Doctor, can you explain to me what exactly is my injury? What can I do to improve my condition? Cure?'

Doctor: 'It is actually a fracture in your lower back..etc..etc..there is no cure for it. Not even physiotheraphy. The only thing you can do is to take up the operation, but it will not cure you, just preventing your condition to worsen. Then again, it is not advisible to do it now, since you do not experience major pain yet..'

Larry: 'But if eventually my condtion were to worsen, why not I do the operation early, so I do not have to reach till the stage where I felt major pain?'

Doc: 'You can, but as I said it is not advisible, cos about 60% of our patients having the similar injury carry on with their lives without having the operation'

Larry:'...okay..thank you doctor..'

His heart sank..It felt as if the last glimpse of light has been extinguish, instantly! He thought in his heart..*nowadays, the medical technology is so advanced..why can't they find cure to this?!* But he kept to himself..

Walking out of the hospital.. *I think I need to get a second opinion on this.. or should I go for the operation? Should I not operate and live just like this?*

'So, what have u achieved today?', his Boss asked him at the end of the day. Boss have the habit of asking this question. And he knew it was coming.
'I..I've managed to complete some of the..stuffs that you...have tasked me..to do.' Then Larry came out with a few excuses, but was caught straight away. Nothing escapes the eyes of the veteran.

'Larry, you are tired. Pack up and go home. Start fresh tomorrow.' Boss says while suspiring, then turns him back at Larry to face his computer, and carries on working.

Stressful week, there's some problems with the client's program, which is running live. That explains why my manager is so busy throughout the whole day.

I understand the stress of my work now, witness it from my manager. Wow, I can't imagine me being in his shoe on day! hahaha! I think I'll just screw up all the data and, go home to sleep lolx!!

Well, that's for now, who can tell the future right~ I might end up changing jobs or get kicked out of the company. But for now, I'm enjoying it, and that's what matters. Thought thoroughly, I think I'll stick to IT!! Yesh! IT IS THE BEST!!! Yeah~!!!

Some people are knowledgeable. Some are gifted, some worked their way up. But not all are successful. Once you have this deadly power in your hands, it is really very very hard to control and maintain it.

There was once, I realized that I am one, unable to control it. When I think that I have a edge over others, I will act pompous and almighty towards those who are 'weaker' to me. Especially when I was working at one company. It makes me feel like, everything I utter, will be correct. And everything that people tell me, I'll think its crap. This attitude lasted for about 3-4 months. Luckily, I came to realised that, this is going no where. And managed to changed my idiotic attitude back to normal, slightly helpful guy haha! But some people, unfortunately, can't.

Thanks to that, now I know what to be done to be a better me!

Successful people are able to control their knowledgeable attitude! =)

Went out with J! Initially the plan was to catch a movie @ Greatworld city. But in the end, due to the time constraint, we decided to watch it another time! Went to Suntec instead, been a while since we went out walking(always camping at home watching Friends! haha~)! Went to the arcade to play basketball! Tiring and sweating all over!! LOL!!

We are meeting Fish n Zm at Marina Sq around 5pm!

And yes, we met them! Went for bowling! As usual, Fish with his power shots, J and me, just as cui, and ZM, terrorizing/vandalizing the bowling lanes, always (See how he throws the ball, you'll understand)! After bowling, we followed by 1 hour of pool! I su*k in this too! HAHA!! Trashed by both of them! J didn't play as she claimed she doesn't know how to.

Woah, hungry liao! So we went to eat the food that I was waiting for SO long, 红油炒手~!!! Shiok ar!!!!!!!! And also 小笼包(correct long? lolx)!! It was so superbly good!! Not enough actually, but its not cheap too!! Next time!

Ended our day @ Mac! Fish wanted to get food for Zorah. Sat there and talked till its almost 10.30, then leave for home!! Fun day!!

Woke at 12pm! J and I planned to go swimming, but this time, its different! Run to the pool, swim, then run back! Its been soooooooooo long since i last ran, so it was soo tiring just to run there. Was sweating like a tap left turned on! Swam for 10 laps, and its already close to 3! But we stopped as it looked as though it was gonna rain.
When we get all washed up and prepare to run back, the Sun came out again! #$@#%!
In the end, as both of us were just as tired, we tried jogging abit and eventually walked. Went to the pasar malam nearby and bought ramly burger!! hahaaaa~~ Bye bye training~!!

Back home, washed up.. and continued friends! I'm addicted to friends! Its the friends fever!! So nice to watch it!! Go watch it too!!!
Had dinner at home, and a few more episode of friends, then J left!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!!!!!!!!!!!

And woke up at 12pm!! Big bro called me up! I'm supposed to have lunch with my family and grandparents to celebrate the new year as well as dad's birthday! And I totally forgotten! Rushed and managed to leave house @ 12.25. Meeting time was supposed to be 12.30. LOL!!

Big bro called a cab, and we managed to reach the restaurant there around 12.45!

Went back, and shopped at compass point. Big bro wants to get a blazer and some other office wears. Then, we also helped small bro to shop for new year clothes! 1 polo tee and 2 t-shirt! haha!!
Wanted to get another 3/4 for him, but he didn't seem to fancy any.

Tired~ Only slept for 4 hours! So, went home to nap!! J came over to accompany me as well as friends! We also played daidee. lolx (She's trying to master the game) !

Went out with Pek & Hao, meet them @ Cityhall mrt. Packed. Zy met us after that!
Wanted to go ktv, but as there were only 4 of us, it will be kinda expensive. Thus, we went to Tanjong Pagar and settled in a ktv pub! haha~ We also brought our own cards there too! so, a*sh*le daidee we played!!

Countdown inside too! We were given those party items, courtesy of the pub! And Mr. Noise and Miss Madness visited the pub closing 12am!!!

10..9..8..7...6...5...4...3...2...1...1... HAPPY 2009!!!!!!!!!!!! Reason why there is two 1 in the countdown, its because scientist/researcher have found out that the earth will be turning slower. Thus added 1 sec to the countdown, to correct the timing. =) I forgotten what is the main reason behind it. Google it! =)

After all the commotion, we continue our daidee! Left the pub at 1plus. Went to Maxwell market for supper! Then, we decided to come over to my place for mahjong! haha~
2.30 we waited for a cab. Called. Engaged. Called. Engaged. Until 3.30, we managed to hopped onto a cab. !@$$@!#$!

Reached my place at 4am! And started Mahjong till 7.30! We 3 lost to Pek, he is just so good when it comes to gambling!

Went out with colleagues to celebrate the departure of 1 of our colleague, Lak!!

As we'd need to wait for Leo Lim till 7.30, thus I went to the back of the office to take a nap! hahaha, who knew, tio caught! but okay la, cos its after work lolx!!

Initial plan was to go Holland Village to eat, then down to Dempsey for ice cream
but in the end, we went T2 for dinner!

Novem brought her kid there, Louis! hello~ super cute!
The kid is very obedient for his age. But I happened to made him cry(Novem wanted him to drink water, so helpful me challenge the boy to see who can finish drinking. When he was about to finish, I swapped my water with an empty cup, and told him that he lost. He looked at me, then cried, say I cheated~ etc etc..)!! lolx~!!

When billing, they gave us something for Louis. So I took it to redeem myself! And, as what kids should react, he was back to normal!
Walked around the airport after dinner, all were too full. Talked, take pictures, play with Louis we did. All so fun.

After all, Leo Chan drove us home! thanks a lot!! =)

Today is the day for the gathering with my army mates!! WoaH! This is the 2nd year running, same venue(shaun's place), same people too(1st Company!!) =)
Thanks a lot, Shaun, for taking time and effort to organise this wonderful gathering, as well as provided his place!

Meet J and went to meet Joshua n Rui Kun @ orchard around 5pm.

Went taka's cold storage to get the potluck food. In the end we got some party cheese cubes, another packet of cheese, a can of garlic bread and 3 loafs of baguette! (The initial plan was just buying marsh mallows, but got rejected by the host, #$@!!)
We had a walk a long stretch before we reached his house! Luckily it was the golden hour, if not, we're be sweating like mad!

And there we are! Woah! A few of them have already arrive! Woah bros!! Long time no see! Lots of catching up done. Time really flies, its been half a year since we have Ord-ed. Its just so amazing that we're always talking about the same old army stuffs over and over again. Well, I think that is what they called, memories. =)

Today, actually we wanted to make a farewell party for one of my colleague, as his last day of work will be on the coming Monday. But due to the poor attendance, plan was brought backwards till Monday itself.

So, went out with Seamas n Ah Pek! Haha!! Meet them for dinner. I intro-ed them to one of the ramen shop that I loved. And, they liked it too! hahaha!! As all were full, accompanied Seamas to shop for xmas gift, but end up in the arcade, playing till 10pm -.-'

As there were plans to mj, we sat at starbucks and enjoyed a delightful mocha frap granti!! Shiok, but exp!! Was doing some catching up. Been a while since we really had time to sit down and talk, normally talk rubbish only.

As usual, today need to teach again, thus needed to rush my work before lunch again and prepare for the training.

Training starts at 2.30 again. But this time round, I only need to go through everything with 1 colleague, makes my job much more easier!!

I think I'm not bad, being a teacher, because my student is able to master everything in just 2 days training! hahaha!! But actually, she is the siao one!
She did not want to go back when work ends, but continues practising despite me asking her to go home. Super kiasu~!

Reason for the rush, is because I had to do a net-meeting to teach other colleagues how to do my stuffs(For handing over purposes).

Woah! Today was shag at work!
2.5 hrs! they keep on mumble among themselves, so I do not know when to continue.
Well, I can't see them, they can only view my computer screen.
But its just so irritating!

Some knew how to do, some do not, so I am unsure as to, should I repeat everything or should I just proceed on. When I queried them if they needed a demo, those who knew say they do not need, those who did not know, did not speak up, so logically, I continued. Then, after I continued, they ask me to repeat the previous step again. -.-''

Now I think I'm understanding more about the difficulty of being a teacher. If they go too fast, those idiots will not get it. If they go too slow, those geniuses will find it very boring and time wasting. So he/she will need to balance all these out. Tedious! Sorry chers, thinking back, I always wasted all of your time asking redundant questions~ hahaha!!

And the worst thing is, I do not feel a tad of stress, and I have not seriously start looking for another!! Goodness, am I normal? Is my brain still functioning? Does it function to start with?! Do I even have one?! AHH!!!

Met J and went to City Square!!

We met 10am @ Dhoby Ghaut, wanting to take the MRT all the way to Kranji to change a bus to JB. And she claimed that I'm late, because she was early! lolx~

The queue to get the passport done is as usual, long~ So many people entering m'sia even though its a weekday! By the time we reach city square, its about 12pm! haha, so we went to eat the HK Cafe there for lunch!

Before lunch, we actually went to make a reservation for our ktv!! hahaa!! Then after lunch, we went to buy tickets for the movie after the ktv!!

Ktv was great! Movie was even better!! But the company was the best~ *wink~*
It was about 7pm when we ended our movie, thus we decided to get ourselves some food! As we were still so full after the lunch and the ktv snacks, we had some cakes and settled with Mac's fish burger! hahaa, simple but good!!

Took a bus directly back to someplace where it's near lavender, and walked back to J's house! Really very fun today, and on top of that, more fun!! lolx~

Lets go there sometime soon, shall we?! =)

Madness load of work to do today! Ahhh!~

Went out with J after work. The sky was dropping cats and dogs like free gifts! and in the end I was late by 1 min! haha no la.. I think abt 5mins! 1st time late, yeah~

J da bao-ed noodles n fried rice from her house for me! wee~ its great! Thanks alot, J!
And I ate at the basement of esplanade! haha! So many people walking past me, I just feign ignorance, happily enjoying my 'ai xin bian dang' lolx!~

Then we walked around esplanade, and there was a live band! Not bad sia!! lead singer a lady, good vocals. they sang quite a few songs, and we sat there for about 20mins, appreciating the songs!

Proceeded to suntec, and ate..ice cream! Tuesdays waffles on half price! Yah!

Wedding Dinner

Woke up @ 9plus
Went for the 'Jing Cha' ceremony. My 4th Auntie's son getting married.
So tradition. My small bro was the one who helped open the vehicle! lolx earned himself a small red packet!

Slowly, people came in and filled the house. My mum was the 'Mei Po' for the wedding!

Then, ate buffet there! shiok! Reached home around 1pm. Took a short nap before going to bath and preparing for the wedding dinner!

Dinner, here we come! This is the first wedding dinner I attended, that served their food at a superb speed! Good!

Towards the end of the ceremony, the stage decoration caught fire! haha~ Luckily its not very huge, one person managed to cease it before anything big happens.

TaiTee's birthday celebration today!
After work, went to buy food for BBQ. Plus we also went to get the cake.

Brendan went to collect his car from the mechanic, also also to fetch Pamela down to east coast park.
Leo Chan Fetched Novem home to get her vehicle, as there were too many people,too few cars!
Went back to work place to pick up Leo Lim, Bday Ger TaiTee and Winnie.

We did not book the BBQ pit at all, but Novem say go try out luck, normally there will be no people there. So, to ECP, we went!

All fully used n booked!! Went to feed mosquitoes only! hahaha~ Your head ar, Novem!

In the end, we decided to go to ponggol area, and bbqed @ the top of one of the carpark! (sky garden)

It was so damn fun! talked a lot, eat a lot! And tee opened her present. Its around 1-2am that we decided to end our event. Then we went to jalan kayu to have a dirnk, and eat a little more things~ yipeE!

Its just a simple dinner and we handed Fish his birthday gift.. a.. PS 3!!! bit*h!
Stupid Fish, please pass me your Wii to play! Don't neglect it! I'm sure you'll indulge in your PS3 like.. 24/7, u zhai nan!!! Spare a thought for your Wii! I can be its good friend! hahaha!

Was contemplating on where to eat, finally decided on Fish n Co. Had fun there and took pics too!

Met my J after work! Its her last paper today, yahoo! As usual, I'm the early one, her 'cab uncle' chut pattern again right, J?! We met at Outram, then went Vivo to have dinner. Seamas and Rendy(Seamas's Gf) wanted to join us @ Vivo, but they were at city hall area, and it was quite late, thus told them not to come over as it will be a waste of time.

Seamas: We can meet some other day for dinner(Don't think u can see this, cos i think u don't even know i have a blog!) lolx~ =)

Ate carls junior, shiok la~!! Super full! And as usual, with me, what can u do? talk n talk all the rubbish in the world till late night! hahaha!

Then we took 80 back! Yeah~ Many more J sessions! ^^

Day 6

Day6 Thursday:
Last burst of shopping at xi men ding, E get all his CD yeah! F still can't find his cd(haha!).
We ate some pork chop rice for lunch! Nice le!!
The bus came after lunch. Went airport ate BK! We need to take a lift to BK, and because we were at level 1, going down 1 storey, we reached level 0!! LOLX! the lift really shows level 0!! Nice rite!!
And, TW BK sell's chicken! haha~

We took our own sweet time until, we heard from the PA system, hailing our flight details! LOL!! RAN, we did!! SHAG AR, gave up half way and started brisk walking, while E carry on running. In the end. There's still a LONG QUEUE!! R%$#%#@~! Waste our strength running only!!

Aww... SG, here I come! BYE BYE TW!!
J was waiting for me at the SG airport! So sweet! Hello, J! =)

Day 5

Day5 Wednesday:
THE DAY THAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR EVER SINCE DAY ONE! MA LA HUO GUO!!!
Luckily its just a street across our hotel! SEE! If i don't choose this hotel, HOW ARE WE ABLE TO ENJOY SUCH DELICACY!(And the hong you chao shou also@)
MA LA buffet for the WIN! We can choose 3 different types of soup base, thus we got one ma la, one kim chi and one more don't know what name(need to ask fish, but its just as good!)
Everything is SO,SO fresh!! Eat till shiok!! And guessed what?! The ice cream desset is from..........hagen daz!! FREE FLOW!! Imagine one scoop cost about $5 sgd, E ate like 15-18 scoops!! On top of all these, the buffet only cost $20 SGD!
Worth? OBVIOUSLY!!

Intensive shopping at xi men ting after that. First thing we did is to go to book the KTV haha!
Very weird, before 11pm, its more expensive, and only 3 hours, but after 11pm, its cheaper, and 6 hours(for the 3 hours price) and the same cheap rate!! so we took 11pm-5am!! Its about $20 each. The room they gave us can sit at least 8 people! SHIOK AR!!
After booking, as usual, shopping and eating!! Time past real fast, as fast as money were spent! lolx~ Every time we check the watch, an hour gone. This meant that, our time in TW will come to an end, so, so soon! =(

11pm! KTV time! surprisingly, there are a lot of students as well! Don't they need to go school the next day? Or they sleep in school just like us? Or maybe, taking an MC? Who knows?! Who cares! As long as I got my room!

We took the lift up, once open, we saw the waiter standing just outside the lift, bowing and welcoming us, then brought us to our room!! Stunn! Their service is really good! Every time we needed anything, they'll be in our room less then 30 secs!
Free flow of warm water too~ hahaha!!

Day 4

Day4 Tuesday:

We went.. TP101 today!! Need to go to 5th story to get the tickets, then take the lift all the way to............. 89th story!!

The lift is going at 1001m/sec!! MADNESS!! Can feel the ear's a little hurting.. but other than that, everything was alright. Only less then 30secs and we reached 89th!
Quite misty when we view the scenery, but we can still identify everything. Everything's like small little legos and insect-like human!! The yellow cabs to the people to the building. 小人国!!
Actually we could go up a little more, I think another 4 stories, but there's a policeman standing over the entrance, telling us the top floor under maintenance, thus forbidding us to proceed. -.-' Should have told us before we went up right, so we won't waste our money! Took lots of pictures there!

After that, we went to another place where they sell a lot of DVDs(forgotten what name the place is called), F wanted to shop. they also sell a lot of IT stuffs.. its just like sim lim in SG! We had our lunch there; traditional lunch packet, plus a tender juicy huge chicken cutlet! Its super good la!
Ended lunch with a gigantic pearl milk tea!! Super shiok!!

We shop awhile more and went to Wu Fen Pu to shop. Man, its the ladies street! Don't bring your girl here, you might just go bankrupt here!!

About 70% of the shops are selling ladies apparels.
Z had a killing spree there! Shiok sia her, shop as if there's no tomorrow!
Got myself a t-shirt there. And after 2hrs, we only managed to cover 1/3 of the place. It sure is huge!!

Went back to hotel n put our stuffs, and proceeded to Shi Lin to eat n shop again!! Bought 2 slippers there! and ate other stuffs that we did not ate the other day.
ah zong mee sua, cheese potatoes, beef noodles! shiok!!

Returned to hotel around 11plus. E wanted to play MJ! So we went to F and Z's room to try out! Did not have a table, thus we tried on the magazines! haha! So hard, the tiles keep falling. We stopped after 1 round. Sleep time!

Day 3

Day3 Monday:
Went to SOGO to walk n walk! ,eat Ding Tai Feng also!! I think its the first DTF in Taipei(Not too sure). After that, we shopped.
There is this year end sale, today was the last day, so called 'lucky us' and...I.. bought myself a first ever porter item!! YahoO! We went to do our 'goods tax rebate thing too' Does SG has that? lolx!

We wanted to walk around the place, then we asked this auntie for direction. SHE IS 1 X KIND AUNTIE!! She offered to bring us to where we wanted, and then talked to us alot! Intro-ed us a Japanese restaurant, which is very cheap, and still bring us to the place, help us get seats and help us order everything!! (We were very very full at that point of time, cause we just had DTF!! But she was so kind that we find it difficult to decline)

OVER-kind till its scary!!(Eg. You asking people 10cents to make a phone call, the person passes you the 10cents, bring you to the phone booth, help you make the phone call, make sure its connected, then hands it to you. While waiting outside the phone booth for you, incase you do not know how to return home from that location. All these despite him/her in a rush to a meeting. -.-'')

Don't know if its a good or bad, but don't think you are able to get such nice-ness elsewhere! NOT IN SG!! But the bad thing is, it looks more like hardselling by a king hearted auntie, thats what i felt.

Forced ourselves to finish the 'all so nice food'. *Burp~

P.S* i think the worst food ever in this TW Tour is this Jap food. Cos we are so damn full, thus the food taste like.. -.-'' haha~ But its good and cheap, if we hadn't had our DTF!

We took a cab to Shi ling night market! Place is super big! walk n shop n walk n shop until our stomach started to make noise again, then, we hunt for beef steak! Shiok ar!! hahaha~

Reach hotel around 11.30, as usual, use the comp! =)

Day 2

Day2 Sunday:
Breakfast @ hotel, then went to Dan Shui in the morning, went to eat Mei Ren Mei(Fish say that this shop is very famous since he was young. Many outlets around), the food is great!

After that, Ernest and I went to Wen Quan(Hot Spring Bath), where as F & Z went to walk n shop around. F claimed that last time he used to live around here, so wanted to visit his old sch/apartment etc..

Wen Quan is madness, the temperature, totally cant take it. 40 degree plus minus 2degree. Sounds alright, right? But, siao one!! The place segregate men and women to two different pool, so they can't soak together. We asked the people living nearby, they said it is 100 yr old shop, 100 yrs old indeed! The people inside are all old man! We are the two youngest! So Noob! Luckily got 1-2 uncle taught us the tips and tricks to counter the heat! One you are in the pool, for me, my limps were numb, totally. Any slight movement in the water will caught pain all over, like those scalding pain feeling. I wonder why people like to pay to torture themselves! (Just like watching horror films,pay to scare yourself! siao!)

There is also a very strong sulfur smell. I guessed its from the spring water. Its supposed to have some positive effects on our body, so we are advised not to bath after the spring. But the smell is too strong, we bath in the end. The smell is stays though.

After the dip, E and me are so awake! haha! Met F n Z at the X-junction.
Went back to xi men ding to shop, n shop n eat n eat!!! There isn't a day where we felt hungry! Maybe only the first day on the flight to TW! haha~!

Luckily there is a computer with internet access at the lobby of the hotel, thus i'm able to drop sms/msn to my ger! Phew~

Day 1

Day1 Sat:
reached Taiwan around 5.20pm. took 'Hot Dog Bus' to our hotel, TS hotel which is 2 mins walking distance to xi men ding. Initially we wanted to take the taxi to save time, but then Fish saw the bus, and its cheaper, so went to book it. Who knows, stupid hot dog kept us waiting for another 40 mins before they actually left the airport. roar!! We came first, but then they let another group of 12 people go up the bus instead of us. They say, 'not nice if we seperate the group into 2.' LIKE ITS MY FAULT SIA!?!! Bobian, we paid, so we waited.

Yeah, reached our hotel! shared my room with Ernest. Room quite small, but just enough for us. put down our stuffs, and start walking to xi men ding! Walk n walk and started our eating spree liao!! Slp @ 2am. ATE something called 'hong you chao shou'!! Super nice la!! haha~

Packing to..TW!

HAHAHA!! I'm leaving for TW in like.. tomorrow, and I've not packed anything yet!! 帅吧!!
Don't really know what to get, only some medicated oil(s)/medicine, toiletries, money, passport!

It'll be cold at there, and was advised to bring a sweater there, but i did not! (The bag i bring wasn't very big, so did not wanted to waste more space putting another item!) Luckily, lovely J lent me another bag, which is bigger then my original bag, but can be kept to as small as 2 palm size put together! Cool ba! Thanks, J!

Anxious, excitement, adrenaline at max! Misses, too! haha! TEAM TW(fish,zorah,ernest,me) will be leaving soon! YipeE!

Can Team TW conquer Taipei in 6d5n?! Are they gamed enough?!
Are they able to withstand the cold weather?!
Can Team TW warriors survive the strenuous non-stop shopping and endure the torturous leg-weakening walks from shops to shops, on top of that, carrying backbreaking, nerve-wrecking shopping goods?!
Can they withstand evils and temptations to all succulent delicacies displayed in front of them, where they could not see such in SG?!

Its J's Bday! went out with J as well as her clique(most were from the same sec sch as me! hello all!!)! It was fun! We had v good zhi cha ! after that, went to cut the cake, sing bday songs, took some pictures, and proceed to play.. BANG! lolx. spend quite some time to figure out how the game works, but its v fun! I think they have intention to get the deck. haha!

Saturday! Met my colleagues(Zhen Xiong(bear), Leonard, Brendan as well as Lak) for a dip in the sengkang swimming complex! First time going there, very huge!! We played at the adult pool first then went to the slides, back to the adult pool, to the childen pool, then back to slides, then adult pool again, and lastly slides, then home! LOL!!

bear didn't really know how to really swim, but he still joined us in the adult pool! *respect*

Oh Yes! Its the first colleague chalet of the year 2008! YipeEE!
Lasted from 4th - 5th!

It was really fun, played many weird games that I've never played before! Normally the chalet I go, play poker/ console/ mahjong/ sleep. But this is something new to me I must admit. Really cool!

Yeah! Its Friday!
And some of my colleagues decided to go out to chill after work! and so we went to had dinner, and .. shisha(apologies if wrong spelling lolx)!

Its the 1st time trying. And I admit I can't smoke for nuts! Keep getting chocked LOL. For those who do not know whats that, it is actually some flavored water, say orange/peach/strawberry/apple flavor. Then how it works is you inhale from the pipe and exhale out. There will be lots of smoke form(so it looks as though you are smoking). Quite interesting. Healthy or Harmful, I'm unclear LOL. But you'll smell like cherry when you talk!

After that met fish, zm , and lisa and her friends and bf for movies!! Long time no see lisa!! Always put aeroplane girl! haha! Doing good with his bf. Treasure him man!!

and guessed what, it's patty's first time to the ktv! so normally she will be shy and did not sing much. (Claimed that its very stressful when holding the mic and singing) But we still managed to get her to sing a little here and there. No exceptions next time, patty!

Met one of my army mate, magama jack(Jack) for swimming @ hougang swimming pool!
As usual i was late! and as usual he knew my pattern, so he still went to shopping before i called him! haha~

Yeah and we'll make it a habit to go swim every wk end! Managed to asked Joshua along for the next session too(he does not know how to swim, we'll teach him!)

Went home, bath and took a nap again. Been very lazy these few weeks, also dunoe why. haha need to stop! Wasting so much time~ =(

Soccer Day!

Woah! Saturday! Soccer day! Managed to get about close to 20 to play!! First time!
But the sun was super scorching! I got sunburn! hahaa~

Its been a while since i managed to play soccer in the morning, but then again my friends keep complaining cos the weather was too hot; they prefer playing in the evening. haha~

After lunch, went home to wash up and took a nap. While my friends went to play risk @ another friends house! I missed out all the fun!! next wk play again~
At night, was invited by my Mum to attend the SSA's sengkang gathering. Apparently she will be performing a skit, 加油加油~ haha!

I got to know more about what soka is really about, quite cool. My aunt(Felix's mama)and uncle was there! Last seem them was.. New years!! haha~ Talked alot and did a lot of catching up.

Friend asked me for supper at the nearby mac but in the end he was tired and went to slp~ LOL next time ba!
